An Address to the Arab Muslim Women (22/32)

If you want no one to know what you do, do not do it. Sooner or later it will be known.
Just as, whether you like or not, you cannot prevent from growing what you have sown.

There is nothing to learn from him. All he wants to teach you, you already knew.
It is always the same story. You have heard it a hundred times. It’s nothing new.

When given an order, you shall no more say, “yes, sir”, but “no”,
Firmly and assertively, but calmly without acting like a volcano.

If he becomes unpleasant, you just ignore him. There is nothing for you to do.
You don’t react. You keep very calm and cool. You don’t turn into a tornado.

When you tell him that he has two personalities: one is good; the other is bad,
That one does not know how the other acts, he doesn’t admit it, and gets mad.

You can’t make his two personalities know each other by bringing them both face-to-face.
They don’t exist simultaneously. When one vanishes, the other appears and takes its place.

When he gets mad at you, don’t be vengeful. Instead be kind to him. Don’t forget
That something or someone else may be bothering him, i.e., you are not the target.*

One day he behaves like an angel, the next he turns into a devil. What a shame!
With some effort on his part, he could always be good. But he’s never the same.

He thinks everything is fine with him. It never occurs to him to ask himself, ‘Who am I’?
Whereas he is always telling you who you are, and that you have ‘a speck in your eye.’

You do want to tell them what you really think of them, to teach them a lesson.
They are not interested. They act is as if they are deaf, they don’t want to listen.

They do have ears but hear not. They act as if
They were all together dumb, blind and deaf.

They have eyes, but do not see. They for sure have ears, but do not hear.
They live in the past and elsewhere instead of living in the now and here.

They’re unconscious of all the harm they do. They have no feelings. They are careless.
They want things done their own way, whether right or wrong, they wouldn’t care less.

In order to fill their stomachs with food by eating they prefer to cook,
Instead of filling their heads with knowledge by reading a good book.
